Our Story

Through our own academic experience and years of tutoring and mentoring we KNOW most students don't lack motivation or ability. The hardest part wasn’t knowing what to do really. It was overcoming the mental friction of just starting.

That insight led to our app Yo-Twin.

Yo-Twin is built on the same support we provide to each other to reach our goals: a simple, human nudge that says “you’ve got this, let’s begin.” The app mimics the feeling of a trusted person checking in, helping users start with just three minutes and build momentum from there.

Alongside the app, we continue to offer limited mentorship and tutoring for students who want more personalized guidance. Both exist for the same reason: to help capable, driven people take the first step forward — in the classroom, in sport, and beyond.
